Louise Whittaker, a designer and illustrator from South London, is fueled by a passion for crafting vibrant and nostalgic art that celebrates life's simplest pleasures. Leaving her role in Marketing behind, Louise has only just fully committed to her artistic pursuits full-time in 2024, a year after launching her art print business.

Drawing inspiration from her daily conversations with friends, and her fondness for food, drink, festivals and travel, each print collection weaves a distinctive narrative with its own colourful and perfectly imperfect style. Random ideas are never random
Louise's passion for design traces back to her secondary school days when she won an award for art, sparking a creative journey that led her to study Product Design at Bournemouth University. During her placement year, she showcased her talents at a novelty gift company, working with renowned clients like Urban Outfitters, TK Maxx, and Primark. Notably, her design for the globally recognized 'Ick' Mug achieved widespread success - she now thanks the guy who pied her off for this idea.
During the 2020 lockdown, and craving a outlet with more creative freedom, Louise bought her first iPad and began experimenting with various illustration and graphic styles. Encouraged by the positive feedback from friends and family, she took the leap to launch her Etsy Shop, igniting the beginnings of her side hustle. In 2023, Louise took the plunge to try markets and this propelled her into being stocked in small independent shops across the UK.

From its humble beginnings as a passion project, Illustrated by Weezy has big plans to expand in the wholesale market into renowned retailers, as well continue to be stocked in independent stores across the globe.
